Title:
Application Software Engineer
Type: Independent contractor, possibly
leading to employment, or subcontractor
Description:
As a member of the Product Support team, the
Application Support Engineer (ASE) ensures that AAAI
customers use our products to their full potential
in real-world manned and unmanned airborne remote
sensing applications.
As an ASE, you will master AAAI's leading-edge
software solutions: including AiRWAI™, and other
products.
Applying your product knowledge, you will assist
AAAI customers in solving their detailed
applications problems, perform evaluation and
testing of new AAAI products, and contribute to AAAI
product management and software development.
Successful applicants will have a record of academic
and professional accomplishment coupled with
effective written and oral communication skills. The
proven abilities to manage multiple simultaneous
activities, work effectively in a team environment,
and perform leadership assignments successfully are
strongly desirable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of
Science in Computer Science, Geography, GIS,
Engineering, or Math
- Strong
engineering skills are a must
- Two years
experience or above preferred .NET, C#, VB and
or JAVA experience, GIS experience and RDMS and
SQL experience preferred
- ENVI, MATLAB,
HTML, VBScript or scripting languages in general
- Capable of
multi-tasking to move projects forward
simultaneously
- Strong verbal
and written communications skills are required
- Occasional
travel
- US citizen

AAAI is currently
seeking key individuals with the following skills:
- Mechanical Designer with Cobalt and/or SolidWorks
experience. An understanding of composites a big
plus.

Engineer, to help client establish a basic ISO
system in a relatively small shop manufacturing
environment.

RF Engineer to perform
communications analyses, as well as system design
and development, on unmanned aircraft systems
programs.
