LEAD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Full time electrical engineer with a proven track record for developing fully qualified avionics. This role requires an energetic team player to lead all electrical engineering activities. The selected candidate will be given wide latitude for action and decision-making in dealing with complex engineering assignments.

Effective project management skills are required to meet necessary goals and objectives, while managing and controlling applicable non-recurring expense budgets for programs.

BS Electrical Engineering with 8 years experience or Masters Degree and 5 years work experience. Work experience in the areas of analog electrical engineering is a must.

Responsibilities include development of analog, digital, high speed, mixed signal board design. A proven understanding of the hardware development process, architecture, design, implementation, validation, deployment and support as they apply in both the hardware and software environments is a must.

The qualified candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge in:

  • Analog circuit design ( board level)
  • Digital circuit design and embedded systems
  • Knowledge of switching power supply design and control methods
  • High-speed printed circuit design and embedded systems
  • Use of industry- standard CAD/CAE tools, mathematical modeling, and complex analysis techniques in the design of systems
  • Clean room manufacturing of designs and definition of critical manufacturing processes
  • Aerospace and defense avionics experience and system level requirements development
  • Technical writing and specifications
  • Must have experience writing or reviewing test specifications, performing hardware verification, and failure analysis Experience
  • Military and/or Space rated hardware design
  • Experience with CCD or CMOS Imagers is a plus
  • Project management skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly organized with skills in planning and strategic direction
